Tired of sky high gas prices? Head to Venezuela.

Postby VEFF on Tue Jun 08, 2004 8:58 pm

The wording "Sky high" in the subject of this thread is relative to historical prices in the US, since many Europeans pay a herck of a lot more than we do.

However, I was shocked to read that in Venezuela a gallon costs only 14 CENTS!

I'm not surprised at all. Venezuela is a major, major member of OPEC (the largest in the Western Hemisphere)...and would be more so if there weren't major problems going on there in the past two years greatly reduced production for a time.

I suspect that the cost of flying to Venezuela would nullify the savings in gas prices for quite a few years. I also doubt they have the same per capita income we enjoy here in the USA....so it's all relative.
Kerry is the most liberal US Senator in Washington, who has more of a sourpuss disposition than Lieberman.

He sucks the way he flips and then flops...which is why he will be defeated!

Where do they get these guys?
