My Best Buy always had 100packs (2-50pks) made in Japan. Now all Fuji has gone Taiwan. What are some other good discs?

It depends on what burner you'll be using. Some discs perform better than others in certain burners. Find your burner in this thread and check out the results.

Personally, if I want high quality discs and I can't get TY's at a brick & mortar store like Best Buy, then I will reach for Mitsubishi Chemicals or Ritek. Verbatim DataLifePlus (note the 'Plus') CD-R's are always made by Mitsubishi Chemicals. TDK is a brand which has Ritek discs in quite a few of their spindles. Be careful though, TDK also has spindles which contain CMC discs. For a guide on how to tell which spindles are Ritek and which are CMC, take a look here.
