Post subject: TDK TTG01, who manufacturate these?

I bought at Costco a spindle of 25 pcs of TDK 1x-4x DVD-R, nero infotool shows media code TTG01 as manufacturer and in the line of media code nothing. BTW They burned fine @8x on the A07-U.
Ciao,
macgirl.

Tired of hackintoshes and went with the real deal.

They're made for TDK by CMC, assuming they say made in Taiwan.

They must be manufactured using better materials and higher QC than discs with CMC codes, going by scans I've seen of TT media.

Who knows. I've had nothing but excellent results with CMC on my NEC drive, quite the contrary on LiteOn. There was a case not long ago of an online retailer selling the TDK media as CMC, it was a batch of TDK leftovers that CMC was dumping, at least according to retailer.

Yep, that was supermediastore that had them for a short while.
My coworker ordered a 50 pack and has had great results with these @8X on his NEC 2500.

Hello!

I use TDK-media with that ATIP, they delivers good results with my LG 4082 and very good results with a Pioneer DVR 107. The results with the "normal" CMC´s are still good, but not so good as the TTG
Benq DW 1640 and 1650 , Plextor PX-755, Pioneer BDR-208 and 209D, LG GH24NSC0, LG BH16NS40 and 16NS55, Liteon ihas 124F and 324F, Pioneer DVR-215 and S21, Samsung SH-224DB and 224GB, and some more

The Armor-Plated TTG01s are made in Japan at TDK's plant I would assume. Some of their 8x -R (media code TTG02) is also made in Japan.
