DVD-R won't play on some computers

When I burn data onto a DVD, it works perfectly on my computer. However, on many other computers, it simply freezes or the files do not open.

I'm using the latest version of NERO.

Any other specs you want me to tell you or any suggestions as to what the problem would be greatly appreciated

better give some more info, if you want to receive help.

what hardware you're using.
what software (yeah you said Nero. Nero 5 or 6? regular Nero or NeroVisionExpress or NeroRecode or what)?
what kind of video compilation?
what computers do the DVDs work on and what computers they don't? what OSes run these computers? what video software is used to view them?

etc. etc.
