Nero Showtime - ?

Postby Big Dog on Thu Aug 12, 2004 12:31 pm

Is there a way to disable Showtime as being the default DVD player? I have WinDVD 6 which I think does a better job. But installing it causes conflicts with Showtime and playing DVD's thru Windows Media Player.

more info would be helpful, like whats your operatin system?

you can select the default action taken when you insert a disk, just right click the drive in my computer and hit properties, then hit autoplay tab

Current OS is WinXP Pro, with SP 2.

The main problem that I run into is with Windows Media Player 9. WinDVD 6 installs a plug-in, and then Nero installs their plug-in for Showtime, and takes presidence over WinDVD.
