Today, CDRLabs brings you an in depth look at TDK's new 12x DVD±RW drive, the Indi DVD 1280B. Like the Lite-On drive it's based on, the 1280B is capable of 12x DVD+R, 8x DVD-R and 4x DVD±RW writing speeds and has a maximum DVD read speed of 12x. On top of that, it includes features like 48x CD reading and writing speeds, 24x rewriting speeds and support for buffer underrun protection.

In this review we'll take a look at some of the features found on the 1280B and see how it compares to some of the 12x DVD±RW drives from the competition. Can the 1280B deliver the performance and features that we've come to expect from TDK? You'll have to read the review to find out.
