Fake 10GB or 20GB on normal CD ? how can it be ?

Hi!
some time ago I saw that someone offered fake 10GB, 20GB CD. I don’t know how he made that normal CD look like 20GB. I didn’t care.… but now I have an “original” Microsoft CD (SQL Server 4in1) witch contains 4 directories each 500MB (theoretical of course when I look at the size of CD it contains only 600MB).
How is this possible?
How can I make such tricks?
Is there any software that enables such things?

You can create a disc that has multiple copies of the same files, in defferent dirs.

Instead of burning the file multiple times, it burns it once and makes a "shortcut" to the other file.

I have created a Queen CD which has All the Albums, MP3.

Instead of ripping Greatest hits 1,2, etc. I created the greatest hits dir from the files off the original album. I can rename the files, and as long as the contents are exactly the same, it makes 800+mb 650mb.

CDImage.exe is a CMDline program.

UltraISO can "optimize" a CD, which will do what you want.
