Well, it looks like orders of 20,000 DVDRs per month aren't big enough for Ritek to even *MATCH* Meritline's retail pricing... so I'll now be buying all of my Ritek media from a company buying from a company buying from Ritek USA, since it works out quite a bit cheaper.

stupid freaking Ritek USA

you have no idea how much that pisses us retail people off, customers expect us to be mind readers and guess the model of the printer and cartridge

if you don't know your printer or cartridge number then let me show you the front door

That's like the people who post here asking about "the problem they were having with their drive when burning a disc"

As long as we're ranting... yeah, I don't see why some websites need to rush out these 16x DVD writer reviews when they can't even test the drive's main feature: its 16x DVD+R and DVD-R writing speeds. How can they be helpful to the reader? They can't... It's purely for bragging rights. :-k

Yeah...when I worked at Office Despots, we'd have someone come in..."I need a ribbon/cartridge/etc. for a Hewlett Packard printer".

Then they'd act as if they expected the last decade of HP printers to all use one same universal cartridge. I can't believe it was such a revelation to them when we pointed to the long, long, wall o' ribbons/ink cartridges/toner cartridges and said "Here's how many different kinds are on the market...Do you know what kind of printer you have?"

We always politely told them "If you don't know the manufacturer or model of printer you bought, and you can't figure it out from the printer, bring an old cartridge in".
