Prodiscs compatibility ?

Postby aisusa on Sun Sep 12, 2004 2:36 am

I found a 100 pack of prinable Prodiscs for about 50. I think they were 8x. On the compatibility chart, my Pioneer 107d was listed - GREAT but my brothers litey ldw-851s was not. It does list the 811s as being compatible and one other one...so, should these work on the litey?

Also, the litey has the factory firmware, should he upgrade? I keep telling him to but he doesn't listen to me.

i buy only prodisc 8x dvd-r hub printable

just bought 100 pack for $46 shipped

you have to get your brother to update his firmware, just ask him if he updates windows with patches, of course he does, then tell him same goes for firmware

the prodiscs should burn just fine in a up to date firmware drive

Yes, your brother should upgrade to the Dual Layer firmware. :D

Also, if these are DVD-R discs you are looking at, keep in mind that the LiteOn 811/851 drives have a MAXIMUM recording speed of 4X for DVD-R.
