I've got about 50 DVD data disks, various brands, mostly TDK, some Sony and Maxell and no-name. All of them burned with my HP DVD200i. I been able to use them in any DVD drive I've tried. Most of them burned with HP DVD writer software.
The 4120B will only recognize the Maxell and TDK 2.4x disks. Windows doesn't even see the TDK and Sony 4x disks. It also sees an HP brand disk that came with the DVD200i. Go figure.
I've got WinXP sp1, Nero 6.3.1.25, InCD 4.3.0.5.
The 4120B had the original A104 firmware installed. I've also tried it with the A111 firmware that just came out.
Could it be InCD?
Is there something else I need to configure?
Any suggestions appreciated.
