Taiyo Yuden Silver Thermal Printable 8X DVD-R Media 100 pack

These are on sale for $55 after an additional $3 discount using code ***d3doff*** on the supermediastore.com site. Has anyone tried these on the NEC 3500a? I belive these will burn at 12X based on the post I read regarding the 3500a media list. Sounds like prices of these discs are coming down...possibly to make way for faster Ty dics. Any ideas?

they burn nicely @16x with 1620
have you seen the hot deals forum, just so you know most deals are put in that forum.
