Pioneer DVR-108 Issues With Burning Speeds

Postby Killians78 on Fri Oct 08, 2004 4:27 pm

Hey all,

Just installed a new DVR-108 and I'm running into 2 issues. Nero Recode will no longer allow me to select a writing speed. The box is greyed out and does not even list a speed in the field. The other is with Stomp Recordnow 4.5, I'm getting Max, Mid, Min issue, instead of regular speeds. Any help would be most welcomed. Thanks. [-o<

Have you downloaded the latest version of both programs? It sounds like the drive might not be fully supported by them.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, it came as part of NeroVision Express 2 and it is at its most current version. As for Stomp RN, I believe that this is the last version made by this company, that I am aware of. It just strikes me as odd that I can see and select all speeds in Nero Ultra 6 but not with Recode.

Look for the most recent pxEngine update you can find -- you can get it from http://support.sonic.com/dwnld/engine.a ... =recordnow

Not sure how much you really NEED to be registered... but it should fix the problem. If your drive isn't recognized, you get the "Min/mid/max" dropdown in RecordNow.
