Not dead, just down.

There was a little screwup when tweaking some settings with the firewall... They're waiting for the host to get back to fix it...

I know that it is a time ago that someone talked in this topic. Can someone tell me or rpc1.org is down? I cannot reach the site for a couple of days. After a trace only rpc1.org don't react. I am not using a firewall or router.

It's possible that your IP was blocked due to suspicious activity. Has your IP changed recently or is it static? email me your IP address if you want and I can have it looked into.

I have a static one.

I'll send it to your mail address.

I can't reach it either. :(

And I can't e-mail you because your e-mail address is @rpc1.org.

*Edit: nevermind, it's back up now. :)

Did you try:

http://64.62.168.230

If that works for you, then you have a problem with your DNS (name server) or access to that DNS (i.e. firewall, hosts file, etc.)

This is no dns problem because i can't ping the dns/ip and the trace stops at rpc1.org. I just read a email from dhc014 that the subnet of my isp is banned.

Thanks for letting us know.

I wonder why an IP block was banned?

I realy don't know but it's strange that they ban a whole subnet.

Up? Down? Banned..? Hrmmm.. I can't access it either. I only heard about it (and CDRLabs) a few days ago.. (about Oct 22 '04) when I bought my new burner and started looking around for info. I got a partial load that first day of one page on rpc1.org but that's it, and nothing since.

Thanks

If you can access http://www.neosurge.com/ but cannot access http://www.rpc1.org/ then therei's a DNS problem or your IP was banned...

Hmm.. thanks for the reply. I just tried it again and suddenly I can access it fine, even better than that first day I tried when it half loaded, it all loaded without any problem now.

Thanks :)

Cheers
