Instructions for an MSI X52 combo from their website
Can any one explain the step by step for:
How to use:
1. Extract the file and Copy msiflash.exe and 8452M1CB.110 to the destination folder.
2. Reboot your PC under real DOS mode and enter the target folder.
3. Execute "MSIFLASH_[Port]_w_8452M1CB.110".
Port: 1-Primary IDE master 2- Primary IDE Slave
3-Secondary IDE master 4-Secondary IDE Slave
Thanks,
Charles

Firmware seems to be the last great mystery of PC's

Thanks for the suggestion
Will this work when the bios does not detect the x52 ?
don't see any windows program for firmware with live update.
MSI suggested I update the suspected corrupt firmware
and they know about bios.
