How much does it cost? That should be indicative of its quality (in GQ's case anyway ;)). Seriously, I have a few DVD+R's given to me by a friend, and the manufacturer is Infosmart (which may or may not be the manuf of your batch). They're not exactly not0rious for consistence in quality, but some have reported decent results. The longevity of these discs is entirely another story and is anybody's guess.

I have no direct experince with this media, but I have read that it is junk. If you live in the US BestBuy has has 100pk fuji r+ 8x on sale for $40 starting sunday. They are usually TY....just make sure that it sais made in japan. These disks will burn at 12-16x (depending on your burner) with very high quality .....just my 2 cents.

heh.

Here's a useful page to the OP: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia.php?dvdmediasearch=gq

My pair contains the "....001" media code. Results are mixed, so consistency is lacking. I've burnt one disc, but don't have a DVD burner that can check for PI/PIF errors. #-o It's just data (mp3's), and the playback is fine. DVD Speed doesn't report any errors, but I think it's more rudimentary than what the error checking capable drives out there (Pioneer, Plextor and Lite On) can provide.
