We did report this issue, and it has been addressed. However, they did not include the fix in this latest build of Nero 6.6.0.6 just posted on the website.

I've not found out why yet. It could be that they did not resolve the issue in time before the new build was created and posted, and someone decided it was not a big enough issue to hold up the new Web Release. Just a guess. I'm checking on the actual reason now.

But this has been addressed, just not implemented in the current build. You can be sure it will be in the build posted in the first week of Febuary.

And just to be clear to those who are not aware. The Maximize feature itself works. Its just that once you select the Maximize option, and then close Nero Burning ROM, when you next open the program it should remain in the Maximized mode, but it currently reverts back to minimized.

what Craig had meant is that it reverts back to a 'normal' non-maximized window (not to a minimized window, which is something else).

Hi Everyone,

Apparently, a decision was made to release the build without this fix in it, as they did not wish to hold up the build another day. The previous version of Nero 6.6 posted on the website was due to expire for Demo purposes, and an exectuive decision was made to move foward without this fix as it was not considered a 'Show Stopper', or a critical bug. And since we will be coming out with another version at the end of the month, it was determined the extra week would not upset users too much.

Some of our Techs and QA personnel may not agree with this decision, but thats the way things go sometimes. :-?
