Seriously, as busy as he is, and with all the newer writers out there, I didn't think that he'd hack the 1.21 fw for 107. It was a big surprise that made me very happy.

I'm thinking about getting the 109 but I probably won't until there's a hached fw avaiable for it. I've read somewhere that >NIL: will stop working on firmwares as of the end of January. Does any know if it's true?

Hopefully he'll get the DVR-109 hacked for us before he goes away :o

This quote is from his announcement:

"So what does this mean in the near future for you, the Pioneer user?
- There might be a nx4all patch for the latest 108 (and XL) firmware before January 31st
- There might be a nx4all patch for the latest 107 (and XL) firmware before January 31st
- There might be a DVR-109 patch provided a firmware is publicly issued by Pioneer some time before January 31st (which I strongly doubt)
- From Februray 1st, all the stuff Gradius does not do (or does not have the time/interest to do), and the lesser know activities that is happening behind the scene regarding the DVR drives will have to be done by some other patcher(s). "

So far, he's carried out two of the three promises. Obviously he's a man of his words. Hopefully he'll patch the 109 before he leaves.
