Gmail: wtf is going on over there?

Postby Spazmogen on Wed Feb 02, 2005 10:14 pm

I've had invites appear and disappear recently. I've also seen what looked to be a log in screen that was no longer in Beta...

Now today I notice this:

I some how get 50 invites to give away? My other account only has 4 of the original 6 remaining. I figure its a type-O of some kind.

Anyone else getting a high amount of invites to give away or getting the non-beta screen from time to time?

I have 50 invites too, 49 left. Noticed it yesterday morning, and was shocked.

OK. It's no typo.

BOTH of my gmail accounts have 50 invites.

Flood gates are now open.

Feel free to PM me with a valid e-mail address if you would like a Gmail account.

Yeah, I use one for regular e-mail and the other address for when I sign up for a new site or mailing list. Basically, the 2nd one is a spam gathering account.

So kind of like me, but my spam address is an msn one, since I get so much spam there without even signing up for stuff!
