Does this look like a normal test?

Sup guys!, total newb here when it comes to burners and stuff. I got this Lite-on DVDRW SOHW-1633S and um......I was looking at some stuff and found that it had the Nero cd speed. So I did that and I was wondering if this is normal:

Looks about right to me provided that drive is doing on the fly quality adjustments of the cd burn, provided that IS a burn and not just a playback test.
I haven't had a LiteOn dvd burner since my 811 though so that graph may be normal for them now.
If it's just a read test the jumpiness of the transfer rate graph is a bit odd, my drives all are pretty smooth with no little squiggles like you've gotten there on a straight rip test, on a burn test my transfer graph looks about like that with my BenQ drive.
Others more used to that drive will jump in I'm sure to either verify what I think or provide first person knowledge of whether that is truly how that drive works.
