I have not seen any Lightscribe DVD media yet. Memorex has some 8x +R media on the way. No idea about -R though.

Verbatim also has DVD+R Lightscribe media on the way...

Only thing I have seen in the stores so far is HP CD-R Lightscribe media made by CMC.

I've also seen Verbatim's Lightscribe CD-R media at Best Buy and CrapUSA.

Heh, that's the way its been in the scene forever. I remember getting my 8x drive with no 8x media out there. Hell same thing with my first dual-layer capable burner. I mean, 16x media is just starting to penetrate the market and those burners have been out forever...

Hi Ian,
Why still 2.4X dual layer speed? All other manufacturers are out of the gate with 4X-6X dual layer and why not Benq? ( I heard F/W released for 1620 why not release the 1625 with 4X or 6X?
