NEC ND-3520 owners now able to do PI/PIF scanning in Nero CD

it also removes the region protection and/or rip lock remove

Yeah, that new firmware supposedly supports DVD-R DL too.

how well does it do scans? how reliable are they?

mine were burned in pioneer, and also whats up with your firmware, it shouldn't read like that

Oh oops my bad. Read the post and assumed you burned and scan with the Nec.

My firmware is a hacked firmware.

no way am i going to burn in the nec when i have a perfectly good pioneer sitting 2 bays under it

only reason i bought the nec was that my litey combo drive shatted on me, i know, i know what a shocker to have a litey go out

and thenec was like $15 more then a new combo or dvd-rom drive
