Reducing center hole in Nero Cover Designer

Postby brucefl on Tue Apr 12, 2005 7:10 pm

Not sure if this is the correct newsgroup to post this, but here it goes.
A friend bought me some full face cd/dvd labels (Fellows - Neato) I believe the template is 2up (letter)
The problem is that these are full face, they cover the whole CD with the exception of the center (1/2) hole rather than the 1 1/4 inch middle. In the program is there a way of reducing it so you can print into more of the center hole?
Thanks Bruce

Nero Cover Designer has a bunch of preconfigured paper stocks. Looking at the list of Neato labels, there aren't any that will let you print on hubs.

I'd check some of the paper stocks and see if they will work. Otherwise, you can create your own.

I bought the Afterburner system from Avery, as I liked the look of it being able to print on the paper that covers the hub area.

for you epson printer owners, in print cd software go into file, inner/outer diameter settings, custom cd setting then put in 21 for inner and 120 for outer then hit ok, those are the settings for hub printable media

I was going through a few stocks, and the Lorenz bell lb6681 A4 does it.
It looks like you should be able to unlock that circle hub in the program to adjust it, but haven't found any way to do it yet.
