Is there a way to burn a .bin without the .cue?

Nero Burning ROM, Nero Express, NeroVision Express, Recode, InCD, etc..

Is there a way to burn a .bin without the .cue?

Postby cosmichippo on Thu Apr 21, 2005 7:49 pm

The sub says it all. I have a .bin that didn't come with a .cue

The description says that it is an image but the extension on the end is .bin.

Thanks for any help.

If it contains only data, burning it isn't a problem with a program like Nero. If it has multiple tracks, then things get a little trickier.

Thanks Ian, do I just change it to an .iso extension?

That should work. Otherwise, when you are selecting the image file, choose to see "All Files" and pick the bin.

can't you burn a bin file with dvd decrypter, it will make a cue file on the fly

if not it takes 3 seconds to make a cue file

this is a generic cue file, just open notepad and paste this into it leaving the formatting the way it is

FILE ".BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

in the file part before the .bin just type the file name of the bin and save this as all files, then add .cue after it
