Hello!

If you use good media, you don´t will have many problems with writing quality. If you use mostly DVD+R you can get a Benq 1620, maybe the 1640.

If you use DVD-R maybe the LG 4163 or the Pioneer DVR 108 is the best for you
Benq DW 1640 and 1650 , Plextor PX-755, Pioneer BDR-208 and 209D, LG GH24NSC0, LG BH16NS40 and 16NS55, Liteon ihas 124F and 324F, Pioneer DVR-215 and S21, Samsung SH-224DB and 224GB, and some more

The Problem i haev is with media in my standalone player denon 2200.

it is verry sensitive.

i just ordered datawrite with media code mcc 003 , 500st

this is hopefully a good media.

If you burn dvd movies what is the recomended speed?

in some cases 4x got me better result than burning in 1x.

What determines that?

And what burning program is to prefer when quality is most important and also what version of that specific program?

Just go with Plextor 716. I have tried all major drives and plextore seems to be the best. good compatibility and solid error free burn. But one thing though. Use only brand names. the burner is sold at costco for 149.00. Great buy

No it isn't. Really if you want something with MCC code then don't go cheap and buy E-net crap like datawrite. But buy Mitsubishi or Verbatim.
Let me tell you how it works if disc's don't life up to Mitsubishi quality standards then they can still end up on brands like Datawrite/ TUFFDISC/RIDISC or what other crap brand.

Still you could be a lucky gambler and have media that works fine. It's just that there's no support if something is wrong and the fact that you never know what you get when it comes to quality.

Among the brands (Lite-On, BTC, Aopen, NEC) I have had experience with
NEC 3500 stands taller than all in quality of burning. Rarely I ever bother to check or test the disk I am burning with NEC 3500 because I know the quality is great.
