Does "plextor" some special copy protection?

Postby ziggy on Sat Jun 11, 2005 9:01 pm

Hello,

I had something bounce against my ears that Plextor has some special copy protection unlike other brand names of copy drives? Is this true or is this possibly the thing of the past? I'm thinking about the PX-716

They don't have a copy protection per se, but some of their drives can password protect a disc using SecuRec.

So what does that mean? It ads an extra password to copied discs?
