Nero CD-DVD Speed -create disc problem

Postby callous on Fri Jul 08, 2005 4:56 pm

There was a time when I would select create disc and it would random create files to fill up the entire dvd so that I can test the dvd media.

Now if i select create disc, it'll ask me to select a .nrg image.

How do i get this program to auto create random files on the dvd without me selecting a .nrg image

If the version of Nero CD/DVD Speed you are using does not support your drive (DVD-RW) then you would face this situation.

in Options -> Standard Tests -> Transfer Rate, make sure Burn Image File checkbox is unchecked.

welcome :)

it's "Include test data" and you don't have to remove it, you can leave that checkbox checked, it will still burn random data not an .nrg file. it will save a copy of the burn scan on the disc.
