Whats up with Nutech? Are they bringing out any new products

Postby aristottle on Wed Jul 13, 2005 10:49 pm

I really really enjoyed my DDW-081 (now 082)........a year and a half ago when I bought it it was one of the first 8x machines and was quite affordable.....there was a guy that was always on this site talking about new firmware and new drives that were coming out.

Now whenever I check their site.....it looks like nothing has changed in months?

Does anyone know the scoop? :o

Good question. They've announced a few drives since then, but they seem to be rebadged drives from other manufacturers.

I've been trying to get more of their drives in for review, but like a lot of asian companies, their marketing department is flakey as hell. I eventually gave up.

I just checked Pricewatch and their drives aren't for sale anywhere.. not even the DDW-082.
