Nintendo Revolution Controller

When I saw this, my first thought was "wtf?". That thing looks like a damn remote control, not a game controller. I couldn't imagine playing games for any length of time.

I thought poorly of the controller at first too... but then I saw the video of people actually USING it, and some of the possabilities began to hit me. Then I saw the FPS potential for it when I saw the add-on analog stick for use in your other hand.

Then I started thinking about how every major innovation in the controllers we use today, were all pioneered by Nintendo (rumblepacks, Analog sticks, proper wireless controllers).

So I think I'll give Nintendo a chance.... people laughed at the Nintendo DS (I was one of them!), and it's a kick-ass handheld console... so I think they've earned a chance to proove themselves :)

Here's a video of it in action:

It really didn't appeal to me until I saw the guy sword fighting with it. Now.. if they made a Star Wars game, where you can fight with a lightsaber... oh boy. Probably need two of them to play as Darth Maul. :o
