PAL NTSC and Region Info

Postby hamcor on Sun Oct 09, 2005 3:02 am

I have around a thousand DVDs that I have to identify if they are PAL or NTSC format, and what Region code(s) they have.

I've looked at DVDInfoPro and can find the Region info easily, but not the PAL / NTSC info. Does it display this anywhere?

I've also tried IfoEdit and can see the PAL / NTSC info but not the Region info.

Can one of these give me want I want or am I barking up the wrong tree?

In IFOEdit open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file and click on VMGM_MAT:

You can also use DVDDecrypter in IFO mode->Stream Processing:

What a fantastic answer burninfool, I can't thank you enough.

I spent quite a bit of time with IfoEdit but didn't realise that you could get all that info from it.

I've downloaded DVDDecrypter and I'm going to use that as it gives me exactly what I need and a user friendly interface too.

Thank you very much
