LtnFlash v2.5.1

Postby Ian on Thu Dec 01, 2005 12:00 pm

I got my hands on the latest version of LtnFlash. As you can see, the GUI has been redesigned and a number of new features have been added. And no, I can't give it out.

As you can see by this screenshot, Lite-On is adding overspeed capabilities back to their future drives. They're also going to add their own "Auto Write Strategy". They are in the process of filing the copywrite so I had to block the name of the technology. This feature will be available in the model after the 165P6S.

For those that asked, the skull on there means that LtnFlash installed the port IO library successfully.

The Windows flag (which isn't shown here) means that the system supports the "ATA pass through" command (only supported under XP SP2 and 2003). With this, you can send ATA commands through the ATA tab via the Windows driver.
