Nero Express 6 does what you want. it includes NeroVision express which is used for burning Video. if you want to make a DVD from .avi files you need to use NeroVision Express.

umm im kinda new to it. you mean format the .avi files to video files for playing in the dvd player? or just burn in a lot of .avi in the dvd, how do you do this, write data? same as cds?

oh another thing, i tried playing a movie directly from the drive, in: media player 10 (with latest codecs) only the audio comes out, in divx(latest codecs) only the video comes out. toink! are there other codec packs that can support mp10 or that support everthing so i wont have to install divx or other things anymore.? like a all in one package type. suggestions.

tnx.

if you have .avi files and you want to burn a "video-DVD" that will play in a DVD player, you need to use NeroVision program to create the DVD.

i'm no expert, can't help you on the other stuff.

Update firmware to BSMB,I(and others) do not recommend BSNB because there are too many problems with it:
