Nero - Read all subchannel data

i was wondering what exactly does this option do,
as i see it in the copy disc page on the side panel in nero 7
should i turn it on, n how does it affect my burn

Reading the subchennel is a big deal when copying protected discs but I don't think I've ever enabled that feature in Nero.
