What is in the wrong format ? You need to describe your problem more clearly to get any help...

Does your turntable have an RIAA amplifier built in? If not, you MUST have an RIAA amp in line, and ground your turntable, to get acceptable results. Radio Shack sells low-end ones for around $30.

Otherwise, check your turntable manual to see if it has an RIAA amp and if you can turn it on and off. Be sure it is on.

Line in is the ONLY correct option.

SPDIF in is a digital format. you will never find a turntable that will support it.
