dvdrw question

Postby a rock lobsta on Mon Mar 05, 2007 8:40 pm

My father-in-law gave me a mini dvdrw to try and put onto a normal sized dvd. when i load it into my computer it doesnt show anything on the disc. when i put it in my camcorder it ask me if i want to format it. If there is content on the disc will it be erased when i format it?
thanks

Yes, if you reformat it, you will lose the data on it.

If you're sure there is some data on it, you might want to try grabbing it with ISOBuster.
Then again, it could be that your particular drive has trouble reading this particular mini DVD-RW. In that case, you might try reading the disc with another drive.
