Where's our Polygon?

Postby MediumRare on Sun Apr 01, 2007 4:09 pm

Never mind Monte- where has Dodecahedron, our omnipresent moderator, resident mathematician and Master of the FAQs gone? No word in almost 3 months... :o

Things that come to mind:
  • Oral examinations for his Master's degree are imminent
  • The move to another flat is taking all his time
  • The network wiring there is Cat0 (and no internet) ](*,)
  • Another Platonic solid is in the works to go with "Icosahedron", aka Yoav \:D/
  • Nassaralla hit a bulls-eye
  • He took off with Alejandra, who stopped posting at about the same time :^o

Whatever- dodecahedron: we miss you and your frank questions and knowledgeable answers!

I sent an email to his gmail account last week. Still no reply. :(

If I had his phone #, I'd give him a call.

That's reassuring! I feel for him as far as "busy" goes- have a bit of that myself.

Hope you drop by soon, dodeca!

Hello All.

i've been terribly busy for a long while.
i think my last post before this was around January.
it's not that i don't want to come here but no time.
a year and a half ago we bought an apartment, and we followed the construction all the way. we moved at the end of august but also the 1/2 year before that was hectic as hell with the final stages of the construction etc.
and having a 3 year old son means that no spare time exists.
and now (as of October), the new academic year, i have a tremendous workload...sigh.

hope all's well with the website, and all of the staff and regulars. i miss you all.
how's your son, Ian?

anyhow, merry greetings to all, be it Hannukah or Christmas or Id-el-Fiter. joyous holidays and happy new year to come.

i might start to pop in a little in the near future, since it seems that my LG GSA-H10L is starting to act quirky - dying out ? so i might want to get a new DVD burner, and have to ask all the gurus here "what's the best drive to buy?"

PS
quite surprisingly, i see that i'm still #2 on the top 10 posters! :o
what's going on? i was sure i'd be dethroned from this station by now... :)

Which one? I have two now.

It's good to hear that you and the family are doing well. We were getting worried for awhile there that something happened to you.

Hi Dodecahedron,
glad to see you're still alive and looking forward to seeing you here again in the future. :D

I hope that you and your family are well and that the new apartment is in itself a suitable reward for all the hassle you've gone though!
