DVD-R/W, DVD+R/RW, DVD-RAM

Interface Question

Guy's I gotten lost for a second.I was checking out the dvd burners a www.compusa.com And it has the interface's listed as:

ATA
E-IDE
SATA
FireWire(400)
USB
2.0 USB

It's the ATA;thats confusing me.What is a ATA DVD Drive?

ATA is another name for IDE

sorry ive been gone last couple of days, tonsillitis

not fun at all

anyways, looks like your looking at a external burner, has every hook up format except e-sata and firewire 800

which isn't necessary for burning dvds

and usb and usb 2.0 refers to the same technology in a dvd burner
