How is the 5239S?

Burn baby burn!

Postby SkaarjMaster on Mon Sep 03, 2007 8:41 pm

I'm probably leaving the office in a couple weeks and taking my 5239S with me (that is if I didn't get reimbursed for it...I'll check first of course). If so, I might switch it out with my Mom's 5237S......she'll never know, right?:) Will Nero freak out with switching burners or just keep on truckin' (not a version that came with drive)?

As long as you're not using some ancient version of Nero, it should work fine.

I'm planning on using it in my new computer next year. I plan to have one DVD-ROM, one CD burner and one DVD burner. Hopefully, the new motherboards don't have problems with this. The only problem I see is the CD burner might insist on being the Master......I'll deal with that later.

EDIT: just checked my records at the office and the burner is mine!:)

Anything wrong with the newest 2S0C firmware? I can't find anything negative with a search. Right now it has the 2S09 firmware on the drive.
