Pioneer Released this sooner than i thought. Looks like they want to stay ahead of the competition in regards to dvd write speed

I don't see any new speed on this drive :-? Samsung, LG and LiteON have 20x burners for quite some time.

It writes to DVD+R/-R at 20x. That seems to be the only real difference.

Yep the 20x speed is the only difference. This comes from our aus pioneer rep that posts on overclockers. He claims the drive is fantastic tho lol. But my 112D 18x drive will do me fine.

I wouldn't expect him to say anything else. :wink:

In any case, this will probably be another Pioneer drive we won't review.
