LG GSA 4167B Super-Multi Problem

Postby Vishvanath on Tue Dec 11, 2007 5:22 pm

I noticed that my burner turns itself off. The dics tray won't open and the only way to turn it back on is to turn the power switch to off and then on again.

Anyone know why this could be happening?

Looks like I'll have to buy another USB 2.0 cable and power supply.

Thanks for the help.

Yeah it's external.

I think the problem may be with the power supply becuase I remember fiddling around with it and the light on the re-writer flashed.
