I was used to Nero versions prior to Nero 8. So I got Nero 8.1.2 recently. Now when I put my used DVD-RW in and try to burn a downloaded TV show to the disc I get a message that I have to erase the disc. If I let it erase then it ejects afterwards then I have to push it back in and wait to spin up and then burn the new data to it.
In previous versions I would tell it to Burn, then it tells me the disc is not empty, I just tell it to go ahead anyway, so it erases and/or writes over what evers on the DVD-RW as it burns. Quite easy and quicker.
I can't figure out where in this version to stop it telling me to erase first and I then have to push the disc back in and then burn. I have to hang round to make sure all this is done manually now.
