Win XP Shutdown problem

Postby dellboy on Wed Jan 07, 2009 4:09 pm

I was hoping for a solution to the above problem,
After my pc has been used for a long time ie 8-10 hours when i try to shutdown windows hangs at "windows is shutting down" it will not shutdown no matter long i wait.
If i am using my pc for a couple of hours only everything is ok no problem.
All the programs installed have been used on a previous pc running win xp & all drivers have
been installed correctly.
It would be very helpful if some one has a clue to this problem.
