The SanDisk Extreme is one of the best bangs for the buck... even when its not on sale like this.

I've seen a lot of sales/rebates on SandForce based drives lately. I have a sneaking suspicion companies are clearing out their inventory in preparation for a new controller chip. The SF-2200 series has been around for more than a year. Then again, the current Marvell controller has been around even longer.
