Yamaha CRW-F1 For $99

Outpost.com & Fry's Electronics has the Yamaha CRW-F1 44x24x44 CD-RW Drive for $99 after a Yamaha Mail-In Rebate. The web-site says its USB 2.0, but at the very bottom of the page under Detailed Description, it says the connection type is Internal EIDE. I believe this drive is the internal EIDE version because in this weekend's Fry's Ad, I saw the Internal Yamaha CDR-F1 advertised for $99. If anyone finds out that the USB 2.0 version is $99.99 also, please let us know.

Best Buy has some great deals going on now...including a match of this. $119 - $20 rebate. Never seen it that low locally.

Also...(Iriver) SlimX (best mp3-cd player) is $129 after INSTANT rebate.

In housewares, you can get a free DVD w/ purchase of one of several items--including Foreman grills and Norelco shavers.

Finally, the Creative Jukebox 3 portable dropped to $299. Not mentioned but there is a $50 rebate for that unit through Creative. Not a bad price after all that.
