Ricoh 32x CDR

Postby lppnet on Tue Jan 07, 2003 1:32 pm

I had a bad result here with Ricoh 32x CDR. Is anyone experienced the same result as mine? Although the speed is reduced to 16x, it didn't help :( . Luckily just bought 2 of it only :) . Click the below link for the cdr quality test results.

Drive : LTR-52246S
Firmware: 6S07
Software : Nero Burning ROM 5.5.9.17
Burn Speed : 16x and 32x

ATIP information of RICOH 32x CDR (from Smart-Burn):
This Disc is designed for CD-RW/COMBO Drive Only.

I have have another question. Who manufactured Yamaha (silver blue) 16x CDR? TY? The label of that spindle didn't state that the CDR is made in Japan. Planning to buy that.

I wonder if the Lite-On LTR-52246S with firmware 6S0A still produces poor results with the Ricoh media. Do you feel like flashing, lppnet? :)

Planning to upgrade the firmware, but have to get more RICOH 32x cdr. I'll post the new result once I get the discs because the shop very far from the place that I stay.
