How Fast Will CD Burners Get?

Postby craiger on Thu Jan 09, 2003 2:40 pm

Just wondering how fast will they get? Isn't 52x24x52x enough? Or will we see 60x40x60x drives? I hope I am not posting to much. Sorry if I am.

No Kenwood stopped making those POS.

The fastest you'll probably see is a 52/32/52. Of course, you might see a few 56/32/56 drives too. Who knows.

Wouldn't the CD shatter in the 56x32x56x drives if they make those?

My brain is going to shatter with all of your questions.

Yeah, they might shatter at 56x but then again 56x CD-ROM drives have been around for years.
