firmware OEM lg Gce 8320B is dirfferent from retail

LG SAYS THAT THE FIRMWARE WILL WORK ONLY ON RETAIL BURNERS.
HAS ANYONE WITH AN OEM TRIED THIS (Je3lg409.hex) AND GOT IT TO WORK ?
I AM CONSIDERING A NEW BURNER ANY SUGGESTIONS?
