Anyway, I just put together a new system consisting of an XP 2600, Asus Nforce 2 Mobo, Sony DVD RW, Lite On DVD player, All in Wonder 9700 PRO and an internal, EIDE Yamaha CRW-F1 driver.
I have upgraded the drive to the latest firmware (1.0f) but I absolutely cannot get it to burn in Disc At Once mode using Nero or Record It Now software. I get a "scsi/ide command aborted" regardless of the media that I use (Imation, Memorex, Sony, etc...). I have read that someone had this problem running in an external USB enclosure and they solved it by going to an internal setup but that obviously won't help me.
Any suggestions on what I can do aside from send this thing back?
