Sanyo CD-R's

Postby binny on Thu Feb 13, 2003 1:54 am

I've seen Sanyo 16X CD-R's dirt cheap here and i'm wondering whether they are worth getting?
Would anyone know if they can be burnt at a greater speed? I have a Lite-On 48X 24X 48X.
And anyone know what manufacturer makes Sanyo CD-R's? I'm guessing CMC.
Thanks

In my personal test using "Plasmon" material discs named
"SanyoDigital" 16-52x ,these disc are not reliable at all . If stratch them you have DATA losses ! but when burn audio cd ,they sound well !.
Also they look fat ! , than other CDrs ..Very strange all these.....

BTW they are most branded cheap media.Spingle of 50 Cdrs for 14euro similar to some crap CMC media of different or unknown brands like "That's Write" brand ,"Vivastar" etc - In all cases I was able burn in 48x-52x even disc label not mentioned ,without scandisc errors ,but in poor quality in reliability as I wrote above...
