Difference in burning speed????

Postby hp9000 on Mon Feb 17, 2003 3:41 pm

Hello,

I'm thinking of replacing my trusty LG 16x by one of the new ones (48x or 52x) and I'd like to know what the difference in burning times would be, between the 48x and the 52x. Minutes? Seconds? I'm trying to decide if it's better to save some some money and go for the 48x, or if I should go for the 52x in order to save time.

Thanks!

Check the reviews here and see for yourself. Burn times are listed for a variety of media in each review.

Back to my country (Malaysia) the price difference between 48x and 52x is very small. So in that case I'll advice you to go for 52x. The time difference between the 2 is really a matter of seconds only. It is around 10 seconds. I have a Liteon 52246S which has a good burn quality. Liteon is the best.
