Plextor Version 1.04 Firmware Upgrade Available Today

Just noticed that the new version 1.04 firmware upgrade for the Plextor 48/24/48A and U is available here:

The upgrades are noted as follows:

- Fixed a bug where an error would occur when the drive tried to re-format a disc which was previously formatted as an MRW disc.

- Improved the write quality on Verbatim 16x CD-R disc

- Added functionality to the drive so it will play Audio CD's at 8x CLV with MediaPlayer
